Let’s get this out there… I’m no developer. I’m an old guy who used to dabble in programming back in the days of the original visual basic. Did quite a bit of programming in Delphi, but I’m not a professional developer. I tell you this so that you’ll understand the my knowledge level in considering and answering my question.
I work with a development platform called “Ontraport”. It is essentially a CRM with some other bells and whistles.
I am trying to link/integrate Ontraport with a webpage that I created with a point and click webpage builder. Ontraport has a functionality called “Ontraform” where it can overlay a form on top of the page being displayed. To integrate, Ontraport creates code to tie the 2 together via an HTML hyperlink. Here is an example:
<a style=’ font-size: 1.5em;text-transform: uppercase;text-decoration: none;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;border: .1em solid;padding: .3em .6em;letter-spacing: .05em;color: #333;’ href=’javascript://’ data-opf-trigger=’p2c999999f1′>Register Now!</a><script type=’text/javascript’ async=’true’ src=’
This code, once executed overlays the Ontraform. Here is what I want to do: l want to be able to call the javascript procedure with an object such as a hyperlinked text box or hyperlinked image. I don’t like the looks of the text generated by the above code, nor does it behave very well with my Responsive Web Design site.
How can I execute or run the javascript procedure in the above code from a hyperlinked object?
Thank you for your help!
