hello,

So, i’m really new to wed development i have done HTML, PHP, SQL before but no interactive or dynamic web pages. i have this web site i need to design whiche is slimier to this website [url]http://www.pathogenomics.sfu.ca/islandviewer/accession/NC_009925.1/[/url]

so my question is how can i do the map part where it is divided from 0 to 3M for example. i have database and i need to draw the map chart using this data and then display the information each section of the map holds when mouse go over it.

any idea or guide will be most appreciated.

Thank you for your reply but i think you did not get my question let restate the probelm for you. This website not mine and im not trying to copy it. Im new to the web thing at all so go and study is awsome idea if i know what i need to study for. My question is what do i need to learn to do the drawing like this? Im learning for myself this not a homework ?
