synchronized frames

Alright I have 3 frames on my site: one for navigation, one for banner, and one for the main content. My friend gave me a script that changes both the banner and main text frames at the same time which I really needed, but when you click the back button you need two seperate clicks to get the banner AND the main text to go back one frame. Is there any way to tie the two frames together so that when you click the back button then will both move one frame backward at the same time? (same applies to clicking the forward button)

Thanks
