Changing slug, how to?

Hi guys, I’ m developing a WordPress website. My customer asks me to change the portfolio permalinks. I don’t want to change the entire structure, blog, products etc. I want to change only portfolio. I just want to remove “category” only for portfolio.

For example: Category=test, Post=abc123

The old: /portfolio/test/abc123/
The new: /portfolio/abc123/

How can I do that?
