google snippet error – javscript required

hi, for some of my websites google results , part of the snippet says “JavaScript is required for this content”. I believe it is from an “email us” button I have in the footer of every page. 2 things I’d love help with are 1 – how do I get google to read this properly and not give this message and 2, preferable, how do I stop google using my footer as the snippet in the first place- I have all in one seo installed and sometimes google is picking up what I have there but with I domain name search it seems to be showing the footer. I am only a novice helping out a friend for whom I built a site so any basic instructions would be appreciated.
