@EugeneVOct 17.2016 — I think you need to find out first of all if they were real reviews or not. If they are real - just forget and keep working hard so you will have more recent positive reviews which will cover negative ones. If they are not real - get in touch with review site owners and explain details and send prof that reviews were fake and in this way try to delete them.

@JohnmooreOct 20.2016 — You can try an online reputation management for your company to remove your bad reviews, complaints. They may have more luck than you, and if you only pay in return for a guaranteed removal of the reviews or complaints, or only pay IF they are able to remove the reviews or complaints, then do that. Don’t pay for them to TRY, because you are simply paying them to fail.

If it is possible, then you should also try to contact the negative reviews, complaints poster and try to convince them to remove the negative reviews or complaints. You can also try to remove your business from Google places, so that the reviews or complaints disappear, and then add it in again. Maybe even write the address or the name a little differently so that if the reviews or complaints are still on the server, they are not linked with your company.

Google also gives an option of complaining about the review if you feel its done by your competitor and purposefully, but it takes time to be removed.

Complaining about bad reviews is the way to keep your bad review always on the TOP. So visitors will see your bad review first and only then your comments.

@bangthetableNov 17.2016 — Nobody can remove the negative reviews untill the user who wrote that negative reviews can delete it from his account. But you can do the online reputation management tactics to push down that negative reviews to the 2nd or 3rd page of Google search result.
