Best Platform for pic rating site

Hey guys i have a site in mind where a user would upload a pic from facebook then have it rated, sort of like hot or not .com but not quite the same. What is the best platform to do something like this? i would like it to store the pics and user info then have a script to rate the pics.

As far as your question goes, are you looking for something that will work out of the box (in which case I have no idea), or do you want to largely build it yourself?

@coxmgauthorAug 02.2016 — no im semi technical so i want something to code myself. I wonder if it would be more efficient to store the pics on my site or on facebooks site. Also there should be a plugin for letting the user create an id and choose the pics they have already uploaded from FB.

@NogDogAug 02.2016 — I'm thinking that for copyright reasons, it might be best to leave the images on FB and just link to them as necessary. The downside is that the links will "die" if the images are no longer accessible for any reason.

@3wCornerAug 02.2016 — The easiest is Wordpress and use a gallery plugin and a rating plugin.

If you want to code it yourself, you can do basic bootstrap, html, css, php and database.

@coxmgauthorAug 02.2016 — Thanks for the advice guys. A few follow up questions, I have never used Wordpress does it allow a site to connect to a database or does it contain a database itself? If so which ones? I def need a database backend.

Also for SEO purposes does using wordpress hurt the SEO uniqueness of a site?

@3wCornerAug 08.2016 — IF you want to use FB photos, you need to work on their API key, Probaby, develop a plugin yourself, using the API key get the photos you want, and post it on your website following your plugin template.

Copy the url, now you can insert it in your question or answer. Make sure you have a blank space before and after the url, otherwise it won't be clickable!
