Google Places Autocomplete – Firefox popup won’t go away

I have implemented the Google Maps / Places Autocomplete code into a webpage, however the browser popup message will not go away. By browser popup I mean the one that says ;
“Would you like to share your location with this site?” (see attached image)

The odd thing is in localhost testing it is fine. However putting the code up on the server reveals this problem. I have tried with both the Key and no Key. Same thing either way.

To double check my logic I have taken the exact same code from

however I get the same result.

Would really appreciate some help on this.
