php spell checking

So – I Googled something called pspell as a PHP spell checker extension. It is quite old with some horrible examples in the manual (the first example of how to use it doesn’t even reference a pspell function!) and nothing new in the comments, so I suspect it is not much used.

Is this the only choice for PHP apps to utilize? Is it any good? I ask since my host does not have it installed/enabled and I don’t want to ask if it isn’t worth using.

@NogDogJun 10.2016 — I have not tried to do any spell-checking with PHP (though I did make an anagram solver once), but just in case it's a viable alternative, there is the PHP Pspell extension: http://php.net/manual/en/book.pspell.php

@ginerjmauthorJun 10.2016 — Yes - I mentioned that. And commented on its seeming outdated-ness.

@NogDogJun 10.2016 — It's amazing how these old eyes can miss such things -- or maybe not?
