I have a cms that uses a textarea form field configured with Tinymce.
The user inserts data as follows –
$pageText = trim(htmlspecialchars($_POST[‘message’]));
This stores the data in the database as –
<p>test</p>
The webpage dispays the data as –
html_entity_decode($row[“message”])
test
however when the data is viewed in the cms it displays as –
echo $row[‘message’];
<p>test</p>
Is there a way display the data in the cms without the html tags,
perhaps have one table to display the data in the cms (without html tags) and a second table
with the same data which retains the html tags .
When updated both tables would be updated simultaneously.
Or perhaps suggest a totally alternative way of doing this.
