Jquery masonry image loading problem

Hi,

I’m having a problem with my site. I’m using jquery masonry to create a portfolio. The problem I’m having is that the image seems to freeze for a couple seconds before loading. Also, I noticed the grid is off center during those couple seconds as well. I’m hoping someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.
