Migrate existing site via "Cut & Paste" to WordPress host

Hello all,

is it possible to migrate a complete site, consisting of static HTML only to the WordPress hosting service?

i.e. mark the source content in the browser and dump it into the WP-visual editor?

A colleague said it seems to work?

I researched this on the web but didn’t find much?

@neshdesignDec 19.2015 — you can copy and paste content, but not html structure as wordpress -as you would use- is a CMS (content management system) where everything is in place already. You can change the layout of your website by getting new themes or modifying existing ones.
