Hiding Joomla etc?

This might be kind of a strange question, but I’ve been working for the past month on a new website that I’m really excited about. I’ve kind of been a little worried about one thing though. I used Joomla as the CMS, and I used a couple premium extensions, as well as many custom ones.

When the site is completely done, I will have spent many thousands of dollars having everything developed. It has a scratch built theme for the extensions and everything. My fear is that people will find out the like 3 non custom extensions I used and not like that I used Joomla instead of a custom built CMS.

So I have 2 questions. First, do you think that’s stupid to worry about? Second, if not, how would I go about hiding that fact? I don’t want to be deceptive, but I also don’t want people think I took the easy way out when I really don’t think I did.

@NogDogNov 06.2015 — First, what proportion of your users would know that you used Joomla? Of those, how many would actually care? Of those that care, how many would consider it a negative?

I mean, does your decision whether or not to use Amazon, Facebook, or Google at all depend on what the underlying technology of their web sites are? Now, whether or not you want some sort of "Powered by Joomla" footers all over your site might be a fair question, whose answer in part might depend on the licenses involved, both for Joomla and any extensions you're using, as to whether it's ever legal to hide them.

I appreciate the feedback. It's actually a video game website. Just a little scared some devs might freak out if they realize it wasn't 100% scratch built, but you make a good point, and I paid to make sure I don't have to give any attribution.
