@PhillMcApr 30.2004 — #I dont see why you couldn't. Believe it or not, most sounds for Win98 were mpg's with the extensions changed to wave. If you take the mpg and rename the extension to .wav you shouldn't have a problem. I wouldn't do it though, as most generally find background music annoying and I'm not sure if the 'bgsound' attribute of <body> is IE only or not, which is why i dont use it ?

I think he means as a background sound. But I have a feeling that that attribute is IE proprietary. You're probably right, though, as I was taking a stab in the dark ?
@rhsundergroundMay 01.2004 — #your best bet would be to make a flash movie with the mpg in the background and your site in the foreground. this is how most browsers would be able to see it, but the file would be MOST large and might take quite awhile to make and upkeep...
