I have registered a domain name in verisign.
Im going to host my website with ~~[url]~~www.winsave.com[/url]
in winsave.com they said they will transfer the domain at free of cost.
if i transfer the domain from verisign to winsave means.
what will happen?
i would like to know the details about the domain name transfter

Can anyone give a brief explanation about this.

This is a problem most people have, you find a site that has cheap domains and you purchase it for later use. You then find a better host for your site and you have to get the domain name transfered over. This has been the case for me in the past.

You said that winsave will transfer this over free of charge, will your new host accept and configure your domain name on there server for free?

If you live in the UK, .co.uk can be transfered over to your new host, just by your host requesting it on your behalf. The .com have to be requested by you on headed paper, stating the names to be transfered and the address of the new server to be transfered to. This is a task for the teams add each host and you should have little involvement with this process. If your 2 hosts are good large companies there is usally a domain name transfer department. Conact them add they will some tell you there procedures.

your new host but only if when you say renewal you mean renewal for your domain name after you're 1 year or 2 years lease is up.

If you get web hosting elsewhere, thats just what you get.

If you transfer your domain to Winsave you will have to pay their domain renewal fee.

Whos the cheapest?

You should consider transfering your domain to someone who gives full control over your domain.
