mySQL not working

Well I was able to get php working, next I tried to install mySQL and everytime I open mySQL up..it closes within 2 seconds ? It says text at the top right before it closes but I can’t read it because it closes to fast (I can’t even see one word) Does anybody know how I can fix this cause I want to start learning php and mySQL ? but I can’t because it isnt working 😡 any help would be good ?

@buntineApr 24.2004 — To see the text in the console, write a quick batch file which executes the MySQL application and then pauses for input.

This should pause the execution, allowing you to see whats going on.

Furthermore, you may be able permanently prevent the console window from automatically closing by going to properties and unchecking 'auto close'.
