Overriding a form action

I have a form with an action=somepage.cfm in the form tag. The standard submit goes to this page.

I also have a button inside the form that requires the form to submit to a different page. Can someone help me here by showing me a dummy function that forces the form to submit to the action inside the function and thus override the form tag action?

Thanks in advance!

@jaegernautApr 07.2004 — I haven't done this before, but I did find this thread which discusses altering the form action.

@NanwedarauthorApr 07.2004 — Woohoo, thanks Jaeg.

Reminds me I really need a jscript object reference of somekind.

function actionOverride {

var golocation = "differentpage.cfm";

form.action = golocation;

form.submit();

}

Success!
