@jedaisoulJul 18.2015 — Your question is not clear. If you are referring to existing entries in the search engines' databases that are now out-of-date, the simplest solution is to request a re-indexing of your site by the respective search providers (Google, Bing etc...).

If however the misdirection of potential customers is having a critical effect on the viability of your business, you could have redirects put on your web host to direct users to the correct web pages. These redirects could then be removed once all traffic had migrated to the new links.

@uditshJul 27.2015 — If you are looking for deindexing of some out dated pages from search engine results, there are some ways to prevent them from the results.

  • 1. Apply Meta Robot NoIndex Tag in those pages.

  • Ex: (<meta name="robots" content="NoIndex, NoFollow">)

  • 2. Mention them in robots.txt file.

  • Ex.

    User-agent: *

    Disallow: /old-directory/

    Disallow: /OldPage.html

  • 3. If most of traffic is from Google search engine, you can remove those links from Google using Google url Remover

  • Note: As i mentioned 1st and 2nd points to deindex url, never user both at same time for same page. use only one method in both.

    If you are looking for anything else, requote your question with proper detail. Or feel free to ask for further assistance.

    @daviddakaraiJul 31.2015 — Google advises websites owner to block URL&#8217;s using the robots meta tag. The robots meta tag follows this format:

    <meta name="value" content="value">

    The robots meta tag should be placed within the <head> section of your WordPress theme header i.e. between <head> and </head>. There are a few different values available for the name and content attributes. The values that Google advise using to block access to a page are robots and noindex:

    <meta name="robots" content="noindex">

    Robots refers to all search engines while noindex disallows the search engine from displaying the page in their index.
