We are on a shared server. We’ve had a custom php.ini file for quite some time and suddenly it’s not working. Our .htaccess file points to it just fine but our phpinfo.php file won’t show it being loaded. Instead it keeps showing this under “scan this dir for additional ini files”;
opt/alt/php55/etc/php.d
Which is certainly not where I’m directing it in my htaccess file.
In our hosting we have a new “select php version” option. There we have php 5.5 selected and under the “include path” option for that php version it auto fills to “.:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/php
I’m guessing that could be something to do with it but it won’t allow me to delete that info out completely for it to be blank. Instead it goes back to that after I save. It WILL let me change that address but I don’t know what on earth I would change it too. Where I’d like it to point is /home/myusername for my custom ini file.
My hosting doesn’t seem to know how to do anything unfortunately so they are stumped to the whole thing. Always are ?
Thanks for any help you can provide with this…
