@PeOfEoMar 28.2004 — Just make another div of the same class as the content above it, do not use an id, well use an id to do that color but it is kind of pointless to do the positioning in the id. You could also use the style tag but it is kind of pointless to.

@neenach2002authorMar 28.2004 — AHA!!!...

But it still isn't quite right!!!...

Too high up from the bottom...:rolleyes:

@PeOfEoMar 29.2004 — ? if your content is stretching the page then it would then be at the very bottom. After you going to have the length of your content stetch the page height?

What in the world are you trying to ask??...o.O

@PeOfEoMar 29.2004 — The length of the page (height), are you going to have the content stretch it creating a vertical scroll bar? If so then that last div should be at the bottom of your page if it is in the same class as the content div's above it.

@neenach2002authorMar 29.2004 — If the content is large enough, then yes, I do want the page to have a scrollbar.

It is always at the bottom of the page. I have it in a file called 'foot.html.' It is setup so that 'foot.html' is called at the end of every page. The 'foot.html' file also has the end tags such as
</body>
and
</html>
All repeating code such as the Nav menu and the other content and structure is located in a seperate file, so it only has to be written once.

@PeOfEoMar 29.2004 — ok yah lost me. Foot.html? Are you talking about a server side include?
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@neenach2002authorMar 29.2004 — Yuppers....the actual code is...
{file:foot.html}
I think it's php...But I am not 100% clear on what it is.

IT doesn't support ALL PHP tags if it IS PHP...It only supports that one command as far as I know. I might be able to look and see if it is PHP by looking at the coding for the login button. All I know is that it doesn't support any other PHP.

But yes, it is server side language...As I said, I suggest you pay 5 dollars and buy one month of hosting so you can dink around with it. That's why I paid. Not to actually make the site what it is today, but to just learn how to use it. And see the capabilities that it offers. I had orignally scrapped the idea of KBPROEDITION2, and I am done with KBPROEDITION3...But that's not the point. I need to buy a hosting package for KBPROEDITION3. And I don't have that kind of money...yet...I did have five dollars, and it was well worth it.

@PeOfEoMar 29.2004 — why would I? I have asp.net 1.1 at my host right now, uncapped bandwidth, smtp, 10mb mssql server... and its all free for me. Also: Linux, Apache, PHP, MySql, they are all free so if I can find a host that is running on a w2k3 that is not free I am sure I can find php hosting for free somewhere. www.flatface.net . If I just wanted to dink around I would run php from iis here (because I already have iis running, I am too lazy to get apache)

Ya got ripped off, man. I don't know what kind of system he has up there, but it's pretty odd if you ask me, and you can get a much, much better deal with Dr2.net, which rounds off to about 3.33 dollars a month for the value plan.

:rolleyes:

@neenach2002authorMar 30.2004 — I didn't get ripped off. Just go sign up for a month. You will see how cool it is. Built in User-Management and everything...
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@PeOfEoMar 30.2004 — we do not want to sign up lol... we already have web hosting with the SSL of our choice. I am not a php user, why would I want php hosting? What am I going to do with it, jam it up my.... ?

@neenach2002authorMar 30.2004 — It doesn't support PHP...I don't know what the {file:} tag is part of.

But it doesn't support ANY PHP at the moment.

@PeOfEoMar 30.2004 — heh so what are you paying for? Lol you are getting jipped man!
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@neenach2002authorMar 30.2004 — *sighs*...I am paying for unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, and a wonderful user account system.
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@PeOfEoMar 30.2004 — im getting that for free :o. What are you going to do with unlimited space anyway, I mean I am using maybe 10mb at most includeing data base space.

I guarantee you that Dr2.net has everything you'd need; and it's cheaper!

Bah, I'd rather create my own user account system.

but would you have the room to grow without making the system. If you do not have time to do it right right now then why start doing it at all. I have been working on redoing my site for the longest time but I just have not had time lately so I have basically put it on hold.
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@neenach2002authorMar 30.2004 — I have time for a webstie, I just don't have a lot of time to get involved in PHP at the moment. I have a lot of schoolwork to do.

My website doesn't. As you can see, I have one...and it has the things I need.

Why exactly do you need the user account system?
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@neenach2002authorMar 30.2004 — Because I want to have the people who go to my site organized. There is a point system there. We have 'duels.' The user account system is to record the scores from these 'duels.'

Did I mention that AG has built-in forums?
