<hr> tag not working in Firefox

I am also facing the same problem here.My app requires marquee but both marquee and hr tag are not working.Marquee returns to the original position after few scrolls, though as per code it should scroll completely, hr is displaying as a dot.If any body has solution please help this problem persists only in firefox, not in chrome neither in explorer.Even not in mobile versions of these browsers.

@jedaisoulJun 29.2015 — Hi and welcome to the site. Please do not add your post to a nine-year-old thread. I have given it a thread if its own, and moved it to HTML.

As to your query, we really need a link to your code, and a clear description of where it is misbehaving, but there are a couple of points I can suggest:

  • 1. Have you validated your code? It is possible that there are errors that are causing Firefox to behave differently. Correcting the code could make the problem go away...

  • 2. Have you tried using <hr>? <hr />is optional in HTML5.

    Success!
