[RESOLVED] What kind of technology use to create a website?

Hello!
Sorry for my English, I’m not an English-speaking user. I want to create a web service/web site, where are people can register their account and send some information (e.g. contacts) to each other. What should I know for this? Is it OK to know only HTML 5 and JavaScript? Or I also have to know PHP or Ajax?

I’m new in Web services/technologies, I’m studying them at the moment.

@NogDogMay 12.2015 — It will almost certainly require server-side programming. There are many options. PHP is probably the most commonly used and is open-source, but other popular options are Ruby (with Rails), Java (not JavaScript), C#/.NET or ASP/.NET, or even JavaScript in a NodeJS environment. You will also need to use a database (to store the user account/login info; so you'll need to learn how to work with that, too (MySQL is a popular open-source option, but again, there are more than a few others to choose from, such as PostgreSQL, SQLite, MS SQL, and so on).

The options are HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Jquery, Javascript etc. Check this link http://webdevmy.blogspot.in/2015/03/7-things-to-know-before-you-develop.html
