@Steve_R_JonesmoderatorMay 06.2015 — vcominfotech - I've noticed that you have started several threads just like this one... You ask a question here that could be done on Google.... Many people reply and you are never seen again in the thread.

Please explain.

@faizan1041May 06.2015 — I think it depends on the freshness signal, whether on your own site or on the sites where you get backlinks from. I saw Matt Cutts discussing this question somewhere, where he said that if you get a link from cnn.com or nytimes.com, your website is crawled within a matter of hours.

My observation on this:

Whenever I have any problem in programming, I find the solution on Google; if I'm not able to find, I post the question on Stackoverflow. So, after one hour I try to search the same problem on Google, you know what? My recent question on Stackoverflow comes on the top. That's what the power of freshness signals. The more frequent the content is updated on your site, the more frequently it's supposed to be crawled.

@Vikas_PatelMay 08.2015 — I think there is not the fix period for the Google algorithm update. It will be change on any time and you just have to waiting and watching for it.

@mikesmithnewMay 10.2015 — To be honest, this is really a wrong question. And if you are asking about google algorithm refresh rate, there are 100s of updates in an year.

@anirban09PMay 14.2015 — Google’s algorithm is the program used by Google for ranking websites on its result pages (SERP) among organic results. Theoretically, the first page is more relevant for the query.
