Auto Form Post to display all search results?

I’m new to javascript but had a question about a form I was working on.

I have a simple search form that users can utilize to search for products on a site. My question, is there a way to have it automatically display all the products available?

It depends on your response.

- Do you get your products by an ajax-call?

- How does the response looks like? Is it HTML or JSON or anything else?

Maybe post your javascript code-snipped then it will be much easier to help you.
