bookmark that actualy work?

i tried to put some bookmark buttons on my popup content in my site but everytime i click on those bookmark buttons it doesn’t work and instead there is a message with “press ctrl+D to bookmark this page” and when i do that it just bookmark the site itself obviously.. why the browsers(both firefox and chrome) block bookmark buttons? there is a way to overcome that annoying blocking?. please help i am desperate with that stupid joomla.

*i ask it on javascipt forum cause from my point of view this is the best place to get an answer about some bookmarking code that can bypass that stupid blocking of bookmark buttons if there is…
