Default Choicing front end web framework

Dear All,
I’m a Student, with somehow good knowledge of Java, and one project experience with java SE (only backend).
Now in one week I have an interview to get a student job, they asked me to bring a java code example to disscuss it.(no more information)
They work with java,Spring and jsp as far as I know.
I think my own project that i did was not so nice.
I want to develop a small reall project in one week.
Now i need your advic for the frameworks. If it is a web Application and I would like to use spring, then should i use Spring MVC?
what about Frontend? what is the easiest and most automatic Frontend web Framework for Java? What do you think about OpenXava, Apache Click? JSF 2 or Vaadin? or GWT? or JWT?

Thank you in advance.

Best,
David
