[RESOLVED] Can I Suppress the Type from a JSON object?

I’m returning a JSON object from an asp.net web method. Type is getting automatically added as the first field in each array…is it possible to remove this:

JSON.stringify(returnedObject.d) = [{“__type”:”DMC.SPV.WebServices.attendanceByStudentMonth”,”name”:Elementary – PY”, ….. }]

@Sup3rkirbyJan 28.2015 — This is kind of off the top of my head so forgive me if it doesn't work right away, but you can use the 'delete' method on your JSON object. Something like...
for(var $i = 0; $i < returnedObject.d.length; $i++) delete returnedObject.d[$i]["__type"];
