manipulate the DOM?

There might be an easier way to do this, im trying to get the post in
[url]http://coronadoshores.ca/community/category.php?id=1&topic=Welcome[/url]
to look like the post,
[url]http://coronadoshores.ca/community/post.php?id=3[/url]
(only the two replies would be blockquotes innside the div)

How did they do that from
[url]http://www.phpjabbers.com/preview/stiva-forum/1[/url]
to
[url]http://www.phpjabbers.com/preview/stiva-forum/index.php?ac=loadReply&qid=41[/url]

I’m thinking the used javascriipt to add all that stuff this be done?
