Should I worry about disabled JavaScript?

A friend of mine pointed out that my new site didn’t look right. Turns out it was because he had JavaScript disabled. To what extent should I really worry about making my site work, and perhaps work correctly, with JavaScript disabled?

At first I was dismissive, but then I iterated a bunch of [URL=”http://mortoray.com/2014/09/15/blocking-javascript-seems-like-a-good-idea/”]good reasons in my blog[/URL]. So now I’m not sure.

Are the stats on how many people have JavaScript disabled? Do these people expect problems with sites? What is your experience?
