Adding and displaying numbers (easy)

I seem to be suffering from abscence of brain right now. Need some help here 😮

I want to write a script that adds 1+2+3 etc until the sum reaches 100.
When it does, it should display the sum and the latest number added.

Anyone care to give me a nudge in the right direction?

@David_HarrisonMar 11.2004 — Here you go, if you want to stop the loop just after the number has passed 100 then use this:

&lt;script type="text/javascript"&gt;&lt;!--

var n=0;
var sum=0;

while(sum&lt;100){n++;

sum+=n;

}

alert("Final number: "+sum+"nLast Number added: "+n)

//--&gt;&lt;/script&gt;

If you want to stop just short of 100 then use this:

&lt;script type="text/javascript"&gt;&lt;!--

var n=0;
var sum=0;

while(sum+n+1&lt;100){n++;

sum+=n;

}

alert("Final number: "+sum+"nLast Number added: "+n)

//--&gt;&lt;/script&gt;
