jQuery image preloader help needed

Please help me getting jQuery preloader function for image slider. I am new with jQuery and stuck here with my slider.

Actually I have purchased a one page website template from [url]www.templateartist.com[/url] and now I am doing the changes according to my need.

At the main slider, I will replace texts with my portfolio images that are heavy in size. So I need a preloader for them. So my site visitors can see that something is loading.

The code that calls the slider is –

Also added a jQuery script “jquery.bxslider.js” that is available at [url]http://bxslider.com/[/url]

Can I add a loading function here? Can anyone provide me a jquery preload function? Every image should load individually and not all together. There will be 3-5 slider images.
