I have created and maintained a website for a non-profit organization. How does one estimate the cost of services? I figure I would post here since I’m sure others on here have done the same.
are you saying you have done work for them and now your are looking to give them a price for the work you have already done?
One thing i have learned from previous experience is never under any circumstances do any work for anyone you want to get payed from before you have agree the price. What if this nonprofit organisation says to you but you didn't ask for money before you did the work?
@bryanauthorJan 26.2003 — #I'm actually trying to figure it out for my taxes. I have put in over 2 hours per week in addition to the initial setup. I am just trying to figure out my value for the contribution.
ok, sure np, well surely your tax would depend on what you have charged them????
well anyway you should workout how much you want to be payed per hour for your work. multiply that my 0.23 to give you a total plus your tax contribution and add your national insurence.
Again how much to charge per hour would again depend on the type of work you have done, consider how much it would cost them to get it done from other companies. Also you may have finnacial obligations you may need to consider.
You geographical area would also effect your price, you may be able to get the same work done cheaper in your part of the country than in mine.
To get you an idea I would charge around £150 - £200 per ASP page. This ofcourse would depend on the complexity of the page.
