PHP Slideshows and Photo Gallerys Editiable Without Viewing Source Code.

Ok. Like the forum building one i have had another idea.

I am creating a website with photo gallerys on it. I want to do a section where the moderators (liek on the forum thing) can upload their own pictures and save them in a gallery or create a new gallery.

This may sound simple to you lot but there is more. The gallery i am using at the moment is made from HTML and Javascript (SHOCK!) and i need to be able to edit multiple pages together.

Basically whoever uploads the gallery must be able to upload the thumbnail (named after the gallery + thumbnail), upload the pictures, name all the pictures online (or have it show the file name of the picture) and later be able to edit (delete or change the order) the photos in the gallery, upload new ones tote gallery and delete the gallery.

Sorry thats a lot. Sounds a bit like a free picture hsoting thing but it isn’t.

Is it possible to do this on any server that supports PHP or will i need to buy one?

Another lovely challenge set by moi. lol. I’m not ot fussed how it is done i just can’t use a Mysql at the moment.

@WebfreakMar 06.2004 — Server must run PHP 4 or later to do this. It's lot of work to do something like that. Hmm i will try :rolleyes:

Regarding the CSS, [FONT=courier new]center[/FONT] isn't a valid value for the [URL=http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/visuren.html#float-position][FONT=courier new]float[/FONT] property[/URL].
