Is it any more secure to keep your MySQL credentials in a separate file in a separate directory and then use the include function to import them into your PHP pages? Compared to just putting them in your pages to begin with?

@JonaMar 05.2004 — [font=arial]If the includes folder is encrypted, probably so. I always use includes, though, because it's so much easier than writing out (or copy and pasting) the code each time. In fact, these days I usually only write out the design for one page, and include text files, headers, and footers to display pages![/font]
