Looking to Learn

Can anybody out there help me with a link that will allow me to download a beginners ebook to teach me JavaScript? I can’t currently afford a book. So I was hoping that it could be a free ebook. Thank you for your time.

@Sup3rkirbyMar 18.2014 — To start out: http://readwrite.com/2010/12/04/6-free-javascript-e-books#awesm=~oyS7PxUcH62S4u

The first two books would be good for someone like yourself who is just starting out. That link also shares some good tutorial sites that can also provide quality reference material as you start to code.

Once you start feeling a bit more comfortable: http://jsbooks.revolunet.com/

There are obviously a lot more books and references/sites here, many of which are a bit more advanced and/or focused on particular javascript libraries.
