<form onLoad="…" — is this legal?

Can I use the onLoad event within a form tag (not body) as shown below:

[COLOR=darkblue]<form onLoad=”changeFocus()” action=”” id=”Form1″>[/COLOR]

@fredmvMar 02.2004 — Nope; the only technically valid element that can have an [font=courier]onload[/font] event handler is [font=courier]<body>[/font]. Moreover, the [font=courier]window.onload[/font] event handler can also be used directly from within a script to assign code in which is intended to execute after the page is completely parsed and loaded:&lt;script type="text/javascript"&gt;

onload = function()
{
// ...
}
//]]&gt;
&lt;/script&gt;
