upload images to folder (automatically displayed)

Hi, kinda new here. I have been wondering about a simple image gallery idea. a bit of code on an index.htm file in a folder with images. The code will read whatever images are in the folder with it and display them nicely, all scrollable down the page is the idea. So all I have to do is either delete the image or upload a new one without any other edit. (having the file name displayed along with each image would be a bonus.)

Not sure if this is the best way to go about it but sounds efficient to me.

Hey thanks that's awesome! Looks like exactly what I was searching for. I tried to find this 10 years ago. Probly would have had to write it myself back then. I took the lazy route and figured someone should have come up with it by now.

I look forward to trying it out.
