Set homepage automatically

is there a way to set a users homepage without confirmation ,basically without the user knowing in ie and nn , i know this wouldnt work in decent browsers hence only need it to work in ie and nn ?

I think there used to be an IE security flaw which could be used to change the homepage, but I don't know what it was and it's probably been fixed by now. It's generally not a good idea to try to work around browser security, however innocent your reasons for doing so.
