Multiple Page Update

I’m pretty new to html, and I was wondering if there was a way to use html to make multiple page updates? What I would like to do is on my site I have a complete list of events with date, and then on other pages within the same site I have the dates broken down by state. I would like to change the date on the main page, and then have it update automatically the state pages. I’m not even sure if this is possible, but if it is I would appreciate some advice.
