Really Simple Question-Can’t Seem to Figure It Out!

Hi all,
I am relatively new to web development, and, consequently, the forums. I am using a WYSIWYG editor called BlueGriffon, but mostly doing coding, and using the WYSIWYG feature for preview. Anyway, I am trying to link some small social network logo images on my personal website to their respective outside sites. However, when I try to use the simple <a href=”www.twitter.com/stimm32″> tag it links it relative to my own website, so it puts into the address bar “www.spencertimm.com/www.twitter.com/stimm32.”

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!
