Overwritten .htaccess file problem.

Hello.

Recently I took over a website and have been working on to make it better for past couple of days.

Today I accidentally overwritten my .htaccess file, and I have no idea what it had in it.
After I click on any button which is supposed to link me to a subpage, it shows the correct url but still displays the content of the main page, instead of loading the included text into the main <div>.

Has anybody got an idea how to fix this issue?

@shaggehauthorAug 01.2013 — I'm new to this site, I'm not sure if I can even edit my posts.

The included files are in .inc extension, my index is in .php extension.

@rootAug 01.2013 — This won't help you for your current problem but a golden rule when taking over a web admins position is to "Back up" the site before you make any changes.

The question remains to be asked, how did you "Overwrite" the .htaccess file in the first place?

Success!
