Hello All,

Could you help me set up a log type file. I have a button that does one function. I want to have it do two functions.

How can I setup a function to write the date and time into a .txt document when it is clicked?

Function DateWrite()
?????
End Function

If you could just help me write the function that would be great. I will have a .txt file; lets call it log.txt in the same folder as the html document.

@PhillMcFeb 18.2004 — The writing of a "server side" text file is best done with a Server Side Script, such as ASP or PERL. I dont know a way to do this with JScript, but if I did I wouldn't use it ?. Document.write writes to an html doc, but what is written isn't saved, is all dynamic.
