@ginerjmJul 15.2013 — Why do you ask? Do you have an example of it being used somewhere?

@programAngelauthorJul 15.2013 — I preparing to job interview and I am doing some online test and they used it.

@ginerjmJul 15.2013 — And - in what context did they use it?

@ginerjmJul 15.2013 — Ok - once again I did the research for someone too lazy to make the slightest effort (some job hiree you're gonna be!).

Just curious. Does this job involve C# programming? Because if it does, you should have at Least looked in your C# reference as a start.

@NogDogJul 15.2013 — Start here when you don't know/understand any PHP operator: http://us1.php.net/manual/en/language.operators.precedence.php

Frankly, I reckon the bit-wise Xor assignment operator is used in something like one in a million* PHP scripts (if that many), making it a rather useless interview question for at least 99%* of the PHP jobs out there. ?

    @programAngelauthorJul 16.2013 — ginerjm this is the php section, so my question was about php, not c#.

    Your answer is totally irrelevant.

    I tried to find it via google but the results confuse me.

    Never mind.

    NogDog, thank you.

    @ginerjmJul 16.2013 — My answer was the only answer that matched your question about ^=. Since it is not specifically referenced in the PHP manual, I decided to branch out in the research I was doing for you(!) and offered up the only documented usage I found.

    Do your own research next time and you won't have to put up with potentially misleading results.

    Oh - and sorry to hear about your inability to understand some information you found on google. Can't wait to see how you handle your first set of job specs.

    @programAngelauthorJul 16.2013 — ginerjm, this is a php section, why would I ask question here about c#?

    Anyway I don't understand your problem, I asked question about something specific, because I see this forum as a place to ask specific question, if you don't want to answer you don't have to.

    Just don't patronize!
