Ranking is depends on your ratings, Amounts of downloads app update etc. Most of apps store consider these kind of points to improve app ranking. Because ASO is hard to implement and it requires many things together like: keyword, rating, icon, backlinks... So, you have to have a look on each topic. There is a very good source, that considers many of them that you can find:
