How exactly do you add one or more days to a date in javascript? Also, how do you compare one date to another to see which is chronologically first? Thanks in advance.

@gil_davisFeb 14.2004 — Convert to the number of milliseconds to do any math.
var now = new Date();
var tendays = 10 * 1000 * 60 * 60 * 24;
var later = Date(now.getTime() + tendays);
alert(later + " is 10 days from now");
