Running two different database servers on same box

Hi gang:

I am running a Windows 200 Advanced Server, currently have oracle 8i running on it.

Is it possible to install and run mySQL server on the same machine, and have them run concurrently? Any forseen problems? Any documentation that you can point me towards?

PS: Perhaps there should be a new froum started dealing with database questions, as I have seen quite a view threads on the subject here in the php forum….

@daed17Feb 11.2004 — oracle runs on different ports then mysql. There should be no conflict. I have a box that run SQL Server, Oracle 10i, and mysql without any problems.... Just make sure you have lots of space for your tables and at least 512 Megs of Memory.
