I’m trying to set up my contact form so that when it’s used it sends an email directly to my personal account. Everything seems to be working fine except it does actually send the email. Not sure where I’m caught up.
@Logic_AliMar 12.2013 — #Why do you think this is a javascript issue?
Your form passes data to a server-side script that actually sends the email. I'm guessing you didn't write the server-side script, so your ISP must have provided instructions for how to create a form to use it.
@Logic_AliMar 12.2013 — #Mainly cause I'm still new at this. How do I fix it so that it does send an email?
From where did you get the code for your form?
@Logic_AliMar 13.2013 — #http://www.hostgator.com/formmail.shtml I got it from here. This doesn't have to be code that I use. If you know a better way I'm all ears
Can you just confirm that hostgator is your paid hosting company and you have a domain hosted by them?
If yes then they should provide support and you shouldn't need to ask for help anywhere else.
