spanish language domain extensions

Hello,
I bought both .es and .com version of the same spanish phrase. But I am not sure which one to use. Can you advise – if you reallly have good idea on it? Which one is more popular? Think about the world spanish speaking people not only spain or mexico or hispanic people in usa etc… this is targeted for everybody that reads spanish…

@UpgradingJan 26.2013 — I think .com is a better option since .com consider global commerce where as .es mainly focus on Spain.
