Confusion/Chaos-Body OnLoad Question

I am new to this so here goes.
I have a web page (not a pop-up)
I want it to open at a set size no scroll bars,toolbars..etc.
I need a status message in the lower bar….
THis needs to be done from this page itself…
I have only this code to go from
<html>
<head>
<script language=”JavaScript”>
function resizeit()
{
window.resizeTo(400, 300);
}
</script>
</head>
<body onLoad=”resizeit()”>
yadayada
</body>
</html>

What else do I need to accomplish this??????

@steelersfan88Feb 02.2004 — You can't turn toolbars off without a pop-up.

For status, use:
<script>
window.status = "The Status Bar"
</script>
To turn scrollbars off, you probably want to use frames on your site, adding << scrolling=no >> to the << frame src="" >> line of HTML to get rid of the scrollbar.
