effect of using underscore

Hello everyone,

Which is better for SEO if files’ names were written as separate words (my file), as a gathered word (myFile), or underscored (my_file)?

Shall I understand that none of the four cases (including dashes) affect the searching optimization, but you just like hyphens?

@cbVisionOct 03.2012 — myFile will affect SEO since the words aren't separated. I've always read you should use dashes, but I cannot confirm how it compares to underscores for SEO. I *think* dashes or underscores are the best for SEO, but most people use dashes. Again, I don't have any evidence. I'm just going off from what I've read and seen.
